Vintage Seiko 'Birch Tree' 0843-8040 1975
Another amazing Vintage Seiko Quartz Watch with reference 0843-8040 produced in 1975 featuring a mesmerizing 'Birch Tree' Dial.
This Vintage Seiko Quartz appeared in the 1975 with no model-range but separetly after the Qt/Qr/Qz Series - but very comparable in quality, case finishing and design with those.
It features the new Cal. 0843 Quartz Movement with a 10s/month accuracy - which was definetly a technological improvement and only put in higher-end models.
It features a beautiful almost oval-shaped 37.5mm stainless steel case and stunning 'birch tree' dial. The amazing quality can definetly be spotted in the indices which are high-polished and cut, with a triple-marker on 12 o clock. Watch comes on the original bracelet which is adjustable to any size and received a fresh battery ensuring it to work perfectly.
This is model QMW010 costing ¥45000 in 1975. Test #2
