Vintage Seiko Dolce 8J41-5020 Watch 1997

Another under the radar Vintage Seiko Dolce with Reference 8J41-5020 produced in 1997.  Personally, I think the Seiko Dolce range is overlooked and has many gems - this one included.

This Seiko houses the Seiko Caliber 8J41 with a stunning accuracy of  ±10 seconds/year - which was an insane accuracy back in 1988. The Caliber 8J41 was also found in the very high quality Brightz series. The 28mm case is made of stainless steel with the bezel and bracelet being bicolor with gold-plated steel. The dial is stunning with a nice golden pattern. It has a sapphire crystal.

This example comes on the original integrated Seiko bracelet ref. D143CG which is suitable for wrists up to 17-18cm. Since it's an integrated bracelet, there is no way to make this bracelet longer than this size!

The watch is in good, nice condition but has one downsize: the crown normally is set with a blue stone cabuchon, this has broken off. It's working great and not very noticable on the wrist.

A Fresh Battery has been placed and it keeps time well aswell as sets smoothly through the crown.

This is model SACM082 costing a whopping ¥65,000 Yen back in 1998.
