Vintage Seiko Tank 7N01-5A40 SGP 1990 Watch
This Seiko Chariot Vintage Quartz Watch with reference 7N01-5A40 produced in 1990 became popular the last couple years with the surge of interest in 'Tank' shaped watches.
Seiko heavily inspired some line-ups to European Model Watches as European Influence crawled into Japan and became a hype, and this vintage seiko watch is a great example! This Seiko Chariot is a JDM (Japanese Domestic Market Model) and has a beautiful 26mm SGP tank case with clean gold-coloured dial with a stunning pattern if you investigate it close! The crown has a black stone cabuchon set in it. The case is 'Hard gold plated' with a high surface hardness and resistant to small scratches, although this has detoriated a little over time
The battery has been replaced and it is working perfectly. Watch comes on a Nikko Suede Strap in Temple Sand suitable for all wrists.
