This is why Seiko was still so fantastic in the 90s, the dials were simply great. This is also the case with this vintage Seiko watch with a fantastic “snowflake” dial. This concerns the reference 7N43-7180 which is a JDM (Japan Domestic Market) model from 1993. This is model SCDC001 from the 1993 catalog, priced at 20,000 Yen back then. It has a 5 ATM water resistance rating, but I would not recommend swimming or diving with this vintage watch.
Watch was fitted with a new battery in March 2024. The watch, case and strap have been ultrasonically cleaned and are therefore completely neat again.
Note; The movement functions perfectly, quickset day + date works, but the date adjustment is a bit stiffer than I am used to, the crown also seems to be loose/crooked. Caution is advised when setting on time.
