A beautiful Vintage Seiko Quartz Watch from the Lord Quartz Range with reference 7143-7030 produced in 1979 for the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) featuring Kanji & English on the day wheel.
The Seiko Cal. 7143 was a high-end quartz caliber. Lord Quartz was one step below King Quartz when it was released, but this caliber was much newer and the models higher priced than some KQ models.
One of the improvements was the thinner case design and 10 seconds of accuracy per month, quite the feat in 1979 - finished of with a beautiful "marble" dial that has built some patina without being very damaged.
Watch has received a fresh battery and placed on an aftermarket bracelet. This is model QGZ070 costing „32000 back in 1979.
